A Note from Jose
Hello, and thank you for taking a moment to get to know me.
For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to build things. That is what led me to study architecture in Cali, Colombia, and what brought me to job sites here in the United States 26 years ago, starting with a shovel and a hammer and working my way up to leading crews and entire developments. Construction is not just my trade. Give me an idea and a piece of land and I can draw it, design it and build it. After more than 35 years in the industry, handing someone the keys is still important to me every single time.
Experience tells you what I have done, not how I do it. I treat the site as if it were my own home, every single time. I lead with respect, because a crew that feels respected does its best work. I stay calm when the unexpected shows up, because on a job site it always does, and a steady voice keeps people safe and the work moving. I keep owners informed and I keep my word. And I enjoy teaching the next person the right way to do things.
I love this work because it is honest and it lasts, and because there is nothing like watching an idea become something real. I would welcome the opportunity to bring that experience and that heart to your team.
If your crews speak Spanish, I am here to help: I lead Spanish-speaking teams in their own language, and that is where I do some of my best work. Si su equipo habla español, cuente conmigo.
Sincerely,

Jose W. Quiceno
